Knowing how to perform an excellent massage matters. But technique alone does not prepare someone for every part of this profession. Sunflower School of Massage is designed to provide both sides of the education you will need.
Technical Mastery
Develop the knowledge and hands-on skills required to become a confident massage therapist, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, Swedish massage, hydrotherapy and foundational massage techniques.
You will not simply memorize the material. You will learn how and why it applies to the work you perform.
Human Mastery
Learn how to communicate with clients, conduct thoughtful intake conversations, establish healthy boundaries and carry yourself as a trusted professional.
These skills are not treated as optional extras. They are woven throughout your education from the beginning.

Sunflower School of Advanced Massage & Bodywork is being built differently. Our founding class will be limited to twenty students so there is room for genuine instruction, meaningful feedback and relationships that extend beyond a classroom transaction.

Rachel Wolff
Nearly twenty years of experience — and a clear vision for what students deserve.
Rachel has spent her career working as a licensed massage therapist, building massage practices and helping other professionals create businesses around their values.
She founded Sunflower School of Massage to provide the education she wishes more therapists received at the beginning of their careers: technically complete, personally supportive and grounded in the realities of working with people.
